"The Architects' and Engineers' Practice Act provides an area where a person who is not registered as an architect or engineer may plan, design and supervise the erection, enlargement, or alteration of a building." (Fourth Edition-Revised 2000)

This "person" is commonly known as a Building Designer.

This exemption in the State of Oregon helps to keep building design costs reasonable, about half the cost on most projects compared to Architect/ Engineer hourly fees.

3D Computer Aided Design (3D-CAD): Three-dimensional design using a computer software program to create a building model and its contents with a height, width, and depth to your Project. Then have these great custom building designs printed out with clarity on the HP DesignJet 750C Plus large format printer on 36"x24" sheets or on the HP OfficeJet G85xi multi-function printer on 8-1/2"x11" sheets; both can produce black or color prints. This is a great service that will save you time and money by providing you with a better vision of your Project before you start Construction.

Project Management Services: Submittal of your Permit Documents, respond to questions, and pursue and follow up with the City or County, Planning & Building Departments to obtain required Permits to construct your Project. Stepp Designs, LLC has easy and quick access to City of Grants Pass Community Development Department and the Josephine County Planning and Building Safety Departments and can attend meetings with City and County officials regarding your Project. This is a great service that will save you time and money by providing you with a better understanding of your Project during the Permit Phase.

Consulting Services: Assistance with research, educated comments, opinions, and recommendations in my experienced fields of study such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Project Management relating to Residential and Commercial Building Design to help you complete your Project. If you would like assistance with your ongoing Project or a second opinion about your Project, this can be accomplished through Consulting Services. This is a great service for General Contractors who need better assistance on a larger Project or for a Property Owner who needs clarification regarding their Project or for a Land Developer whom is from out of town.

Blueprint Services: For Stepp Designs, LLC clients there will be Blueprint Service at this office. Thanks to the investment into a Rotolite Engineering Copier SL 42/20F our clients will be able to have the convenience of Custom Building Design Service and Blueprint Service in one location. Order extra copies for yourself and the General Contractor. This is a great service that will save you time by eliminating another business stop and provide you with a better product in a quality Blueprint.
